Air Fried Nuggets

I realized I have never really posted one of my core recipes. AIR FRIED NUGGETS! They are the base for so many of the recipes I make but they are always amazing on their own. I have tons of different dipping sauces that can be used as well. There is nothing better than being a grown adult and eating some chicken nuggets for dinner! Especially when they are this healthy!! You can also use this recipe for tenders.


Air Fried Nuggets

Ingredients
 

  • 4 ounces chicken tenderloins about 2 pieces
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • preheat air fryer to 400 degrees
  • combine flour, breadcrumbs and seasonings in a small bowl
  • cut chicken tenderloins into bite-sized pieces, about 6 pieces per tender
  • roll each piece in the flour mixture, being sure to completely coat each piece
  • place the coated chicken into the air fryer and cook for one minute. Spray chicken with cooking spray and cook for another 3 minutes
  • flip chicken over and spray with cooking spray again. Cook for another 4-6 minutes, until fully cooked
  • or bake in the oven at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes, flipping halfway
