  • Oven

  • 8 ounces extra lean ground beef 96%
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs panko
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • cup fat-free shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 teaspoons ⅓ less fat cream cheese

  • To start, preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and grease with cooking spray.
  • Mince or dice the jalapeños as small as you want them. Add the ground beef to a bowl. Sprinkle with all the ingredients (except the cream cheese) and toss to evenly mix.
  • Divide the meat mixture into 6 equal sized pieces, flattening them out into circles. Scoop one teaspoon of cream cheese, in a ball shape, and place in the middle of a flatten meat circle. Bring up the edges, pinching closed, and roll together to form a ball. Repeat for each meatball, placing on the baking tray.
  • Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
