Equipment

  • Oven

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenderloins
  • ¼ cup sugar free BBQ sauce

Jerk Seasonings Blend

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar replacement
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground red pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • teaspoon cumin
  • teaspoon nutmeg
  • teaspoon cinnamon
  • teaspoon thyme

Instructions

  • First, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then, like a baking tray with aluminum foil, spraying it with cooking spray.
  • Start off by mixing together all of the seasonings to make the jerk seasonings blend.
  • Lay the chicken tenderloins out flat, making sure they are not overlapping. If very wet, pat dry with a paper towel.
  • Sprinkle half the seasonings blend on the chicken tenderloins, pressing down to absorb into the chicken. Flip the chicken tenderloins over and repeat.
  • Place on the greased baking tray and bake for 4 minutes. Then, brush on half the BBQ sauce and place back in the oven for another 4 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and flip over. Brush the other side with the remaining BBQ sauce and place back in the oven until fully cooked, about another 4-5 minutes.
