- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ⅛ cup diced white onion
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 1 can crushed 14.5 ounces
- ⅛ cup plain, unsweetened almond milk
- 2 ounces ⅓ less fat cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon reduced fat parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon ground red pepper
heat olive oil in a medium-sized pan over medium heat
once heated, add garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add diced onion and saute for another 2-3 minutes, until soft
pour tomatoes into the pan with the garlic and onion and bring to a slight boil. Add seasonings and stir together. Simmer for 10 minutes
Add parmesan cheese and cream cheese and stir togther until melted. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to form together
