Ingredients
 

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • cup diced white onion
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 can crushed 14.5 ounces
  • cup plain, unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 ounces ⅓ less fat cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon reduced fat parmesan cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon ground red pepper

Instructions

  • heat olive oil in a medium-sized pan over medium heat
  • once heated, add garlic and saute for 30 seconds. Add diced onion and saute for another 2-3 minutes, until soft
  • pour tomatoes into the pan with the garlic and onion and bring to a slight boil. Add seasonings and stir together. Simmer for 10 minutes
  • Add parmesan cheese and cream cheese and stir togther until melted. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to form together
