The best way to get in a little fried flavor are my air fryer apples baked with butter, maple syrup and cinnamon. These are perfect over some vanilla ice cream!

  • 1 apple
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar replacement
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees. 
  • Melt the butter and cut apples into bite-sized squares. 
  • Toss the cut apples in the melted butter, cinnamon, vanilla, brown sugar, salt and half the maple syrup. 
  • Place in the air fryer and cook the apples for 10-13 minutes, shaking/flipping halfway. 
  • Toss the air fried apples in the remaining maple syrup or drizzle with caramel.
