Ingredients

chicken cutlet
one piece
⅓
white onion
sliced

teaspoon
brown sugar replacement
Swerve

tablespoons
chicken broth
fat-free, low sodium

cup
reduced fat, part skim shredded mozzarella cheese

salt

pinch
black pepper

teaspoon
garlic powder

teaspoon
onion powder
Instructions
Spray a small pan with cooking spray and heat up on the stove over medium/low heat
Add sliced onion and cook until lightly browned and soft (5 to 8 minutes)
Add sugar, stir until softened
Stir in stock, cooking until sauce has a jam like consistency (add a splash of water if too dry)
Transfer onion mixture to a plate
Season chicken with the seasonings then cook throughly in the leftover sauce on the pan. About 5 minutes per side
Once chicken is cooked, top with onion mix and cheese
Cover until cheese is melted (2 minutes)
