Mississippi Chicken (Crock Pot Recipe)

My favorite crock pot recipe is Mississippi chicken! It takes four minutes to prepare, four steps to cook, and only requires four ingredients… chicken, peppers, broth, and ranch. It does not get much easier than this.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 1 pound chicken breast 2 pieces
  • 3 tablespoons Ranch seasoning
  • ½ cup banana peppers or pepperchini peppers, up to 1 cup

Instructions

  • Pour the broth at the bottom of the crock. Add in the chicken and cover it with the Ranch and then the peppers.
  • Place the lid on the crock pot and cook on low for two hours, until chicken is fully cooked.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken. You can do this right in the crock pot or in a separate bowl. Add the chicken back into the crock pot and stir to absorb all of the juices.
