Chicken Parm Nuggets
Ingredients
- 12 ounces chicken tenderloins about 9 pieces
- ⅛ cup flour
- 1 tablespoon panko breadcrumbs Italian style
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon oregano
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
- ⅛ cup egg beaters 1 egg
Instructions
- cut each tenderloin up into bite-sized pieces
- in one bowl, combine flour, breadcrumbs, cheese and seasonings. In another bowl, pour the egg beaters (or whisk an egg)
- preheat air fryer to 400 degrees and grease with cooking spray
- one by one, dip each chicken piece in the egg whites and shake off the excess liquid. Place into the breadcrumbs bowl and roll around to completely coat the chicken piece in the breadcrumbs. Place on a clean plate
- repeat for all the chicken pieces
- place all the chicken in the air fryer and air fry for one minute. Spray the chicken with cooking spray and air fry for another 3 minutes. Flip chicken over and spray with cooking spray. Air fry for another 4-6 minutes, until fully cooked
- or bake in the oven at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, flipping halfway
