I haven’t made these sweet mustard skewers in SO LONG. The sauce is delicious and they are quite easy to make. I typically bake them but today we cooked them on the grill! Talk about a great meal!

Sweet Mustard Skewers
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons honey dijon Skinny Girl
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar replacement Swerve
- 8 ounces chicken breast 2 pieces
- white onion
- bell pepper
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 2 skewers
Instructions
- cut each chicken breast up into 4 pieces
- in a small bowl, combine honey dijon and brown sugar, stirring until the brown sugar is dissolved
- place cut up chicken in a bowl and pour half the mustard/sugar mixture on top
- cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to all day
- preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a baking tray with cooking spray
- cut 10 pieces out of the onion and the pepper, about 1 inch by 1 inch
- place marinated chicken, onions and peppers on the greased baking tray and season with the seasonings
- bake for 25-30 minutes, until fully cooked, flipping halfway (or cook on the grill)
- soak skewers in water for a few minutes, it makes them go in the chicken better
- assemble your skewers and serve the remaining sauce on the side to dip
