IT’S DELICATA SEASON!!! WOO HOO!!
Who else agrees that delicata squash is the greatest thing ever??? It’s literally the candy of the vegetable world. They are only available for a limited time! I buy mine at Trader Joe’s and you better pick some up too!!!
And yes, you can eat the peel! Sometimes I am not the biggest fan of the skin so I will just bite off the insides. But I eat the skin very often and I know most people usually just eat it too. That’s why I love delicata though! No need to peel!
- 1 delicata squash
- ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
- cooking spray
- slice delicata into rings, then slice each ring in half to make half-moon shapes
- spray with cooking spray (I prefer Pam Butter) then sprinkle with the salt. Toss to evenly coat
- air fry at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes or bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, flipping every 5 minutes
