Stepping up the burger game with BACON SMASH CHEESEBURGERS!!! Ahhh!! Seriously, I mean look at these! Double patties, double cheese, topped with bacon… omgggg. I’m not even kidding, my husband and I make these every other week, if not every week. Perfect on the blackstone too!

Bacon Smash Cheeseburgers
Ingredients
Burgers
- 16 ounces extra lean ground beef
- ½ tablespoon garlic salt
- 6 slices fully cooked bacon
- 8 slices Velveeta cheese
- 4 hamburger buns of your choice
Instructions
- heat a large pan over medium/high heat. Grease with cooking spray
- divide ground beef into 8 equal pieces and roll each into a ball
- place 2-3 balls on your heated pan (depending how many will fit) and let the burger balls brown up a little
- once browned, flip the burger balls over and smash down with the spatula
- sprinkle each with just a pinch of the garlic salt and cook on that side for about 2-3 minutes
- flip each burger over and cook for another 2-3 minutes, until desired wellness. Set aside
- spray the pan again and repeat until all burgers are cooked
- heat up the fully cooked bacon in the microwave
- assemble each burger with two patties, two slices of cheese and 1.5 strips of fully cooked bacon onto your bun of choice
