Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

I can’t deny that I have been absolutely obsessed with pasta lately. I mean, can you blame me with dishes this low in points. My CHICKEN BACON RANCH PASTA is creamy, delicious and packs all the flavors. A rich cream sauce and bacon is really all you need in life. Try this dish out! You’ll be licking your plate clean!!

Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Ingredients
 

  • 6 ounces penne pasta dry
  • 16 ounces chicken breast boneless, skin-less
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Ranch seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices fully cooked bacon
  • ⅛ cup white onion diced
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 2 ounces ⅓ less fat cream cheese
  • 5 tablespoons plain, unsweetened almond milk
  • 1.5 tablespoons Ranch seasoning for the sauce

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain well and set aside
  • Slice up chicken breast into bite sized pieces, about one inch by one inch
  • Season cut up chicken breast with the seasonings and toss to evenly coat
  • Dice fully cooked bacon up and set aside
  • Heat a large pan over medium heat. Grease with cooking spray
  • Add diced onion and minced garlic and cook until soft/fragrant, about 3 minutes
  • Add cut up, seasoned chicken breast and start to cook. Cook chicken for about 5-6 minutes, flipping every few minutes
  • Once chicken is almost cooked, add the diced bacon and toss to coat
  • Cook chicken completely then set the chicken aside on a clean plate
  • Cool the pan down for a few minutes then set back on medium/low heat. Grease with cooking spray
  • Add the cream cheese and 1 tablespoon of almond milk. Melt the cream cheese then add the remaining ¼ cup of almond milk and 1.5 tablespoons of ranch seasoning
  • Stir to combine
  • Add the pasta and chicken into the sauce and toss to combine
